Announcing an Exciting New Fundraiser
AAUW Atascadero is pleased to invite our community to a special Candlelight Concert: Bach to Beatles on Saturday, February 7, an elegant evening of live string music presented in a warm, candlelit setting.
The concert will feature timeless works by Johann Sebastian Bach alongside beloved selections from The Beatles, offering a unique blend of classical and contemporary music. Following the performance, guests are invited to enjoy a wine and dessert reception, making this a truly memorable evening of music and connection.
Proceeds from the event will directly support AAUW Atascadero’s mission to advance educational equity for women and girls. This special concert is an opportunity to enjoy beautiful music while making a meaningful impact. We hope you’ll join us—and invite friends and family.

AAUW Atascadero is the recipient of the preview showing of the play Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf on Thursday, March 26 at 7:00 PM. All proceeds from tickets benefit AAUW Atascadero’s mission-related programs. General admission tickets are $50/person and are available at

Winner of the Tony, Critics Circle, and Pulitzer Prize for best play in 1963, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf is a masterful exploration of marriage, illusion, and truth. Albee’s sharp dialogue and complex characters create an intense, captivating portrayal of emotional unraveling and personal conflict. A true classic of American theatre.
The performance begins at 7:00 pm; doors open at 6:00 pm. Wine, coffee, desserts and snacks will be in the lobby before the show and at intermission. Thank you to Tablas Creek Winery for its generous wine donation.
